Antibes Juan-les-Pins: a fresco for gender equality

Equality between men and women: one of the main lines of action of the Sophia-Antipolis Agglomeration Community (Casa). And to highlight this, the municipality of Antibes Juan-les-Pins (Alpes-Maritimes), which is part of it, has commissioned César Malfi and Jen Miller, two artists representative of the Côte d'Azur street art scene " (In the words of Grégory Scalabre, Director of Public Reading), a fresco for the façade of the Albert-Camus media library, "A public facility that reflects these values".

The first explores ancient academicism, while the second uses collage and stencils to create colourful worlds. Led by the Label Notes association, the operation is part of the international urban art festival "Coul'Heures d'Automne" created in 2020. In 2021, the Colette media library in Valbonne had already seen its surroundings invested by several artists.
