It is the spirit of the place that Cesar Malfi reveals in this monumental fresco.
In the territory of Valbonne, a town founded in 1519 by Augustin de Grimaldi, a new city of science and wisdom was born four and a half centuries later: Sophia Antipolis.
It is therefore a double birth that the artist condenses in his work by associating the portrait of its first founder and the allegory of wisdom personifying this new Florence of the 20th century. Through this duality, César then makes his own the initial intention of "cross-fertilization" which irrigates this technopole project where research is combined with the entrepreneurial world.
True to his unique approach, bringing together classical art and modern lines, César also borrows from artificial intelligence, because how could we not use this latest digital invention to celebrate this high place of technological innovation?
An artist in tune with his century, César Malfi creates a syncretic work that weaves a link between past and present while envisioning the future.
